You're doing it for the community, because it's the right thing to do. You're not doing it for the glory, for the lulz, to brag or to become famous.
There's an argument that filming an act, while risky, is a good way to promote others doing it too. Better be really confident in your ability to strip identify information though.

The problem with that is conservatives are pathological liars and will use it as "evidence" that progressives are nazis and conservatives are victims. Conservatives are instinctive abusers and absolutely love DARVO.
Don't cover the windshield. They need to come out in the morning, running behind, and stop to think if they can drive to work with the tagging or stay home because they know they're making the wrong choices in life. That critical analysis in their head should hit hard.
Not smart filming themselves. Before and after pics would've sufficed. Now they are one step closer to getting RICOd.

No. You will need much more aggressive solvents than alcohol (aka. wiper fluid).
