This sucks. I'd like to see a vote breakdown by demographics.
When I graduated high school there were no openly gay people in my school, and It wasn't that long ago. Societal attitudes can change, but it can take a stubbornly long time. IME older people have a very hard time wrapping their heads around this issue.
And people wonder why I don’t give a fuck about this blue wave. Need I point to these ballot initiatives eroding trans rights? How about these Dems running successful campaigns with transphobia as part of their platform? Am I supposed to be happy to see the writing on the wall for the erosion of trans rights? Guess where they’re going to go once trans rights are suppressed you fucking liberal jackasses. Ain’t gonna stop there. And that’s ignoring how harmful transphobic policies are to women in general. Fucking hells go fuck yourselves you liberal assholes.
This pitiful excuse for a country has gone fascist and you libs think it’s going to disappear with a blue legislature. You think it’s going to disappear with the removal of Trump. Pandora’s box has been opened. It won’t just go away cause you voted super duper hard. Open your fucking eyes.
