I wish this was my polling station.

I'm gonna put my ballot in your box SO hard.
an ashtray. mm, smoking in bed is such a brilliant idea if you like waking up to being on fire
Oh that's not a concern since it's all protected by asbestos filling.
Adult pillow fort
This is rad I like the colour too it's cozy. It's basically a bird nest.
imagine watching two different tv shows
Headphones.
Bedphones.
I'd settle for a conversation pit. The logistics of this thing terrify me.
Gonna get one of these and start calling it the cockpit
Sometimes I look at all this kind of furniture in awe and then remember how everyone smoked indoors back then.
I do like the idea of having protective bed walls
protective bed walls
Crenelations would be nice too. Maybe with loopholes? Or that might be - cough - overkill.
You still gotta get up to go pee, right? I feel like they have room to add a solution for that.
just needs a fancy cupboard for piss bottles. or a sink.
My immediate thought was that changing the sheets must be a nightmare
i think you just have flat circles and they don't tuck in around the edges
imagine waking up and hitting your head on an 8track tape
Cybersyn after hours
This is tragically fake. RCA got pretty wild in the 60s and 70s, justly earning them the nickname "Rugs, chickens, and automobiles."
Unfortunately, they didn't get quite this silly. If they had, I would own one. I'm a huge fan of retro GE and RCA consumer electronics.
Built a CDP1802 project?
Maybe I'm too young to see it, but it feels like RCA disappeared into the crowd of American TV manufacturers by the 1970s-- why would I pick a RCA TV over a Zenith or Magnavox?
I'm sort of a fan of JVC the same way-- their hi-fi stuff was competent and boldly styled, so sells for less silly money than some other brands today.
Haven't done anything with the cdp1802, I'm no good with that sort of stuff.
But yeah, RCA really had a long slump and it didn't differentiate its products well. They were really trying to make SelectaVision their flagship product and they just couldn't get it to market ever.
If I actually want a piece of retro gear, I usually try and look for something from The General and then end up with a Sony because they were better products and have survived better.
I feel bad for low-key wanting a modernized version of this
I'm pretty sure they make circular beds. Get one of those and surround it with a dome of monitors, like a miniature version of The Sphere's stage.
Posting from inside the Barbarella spaceship
that movie is such a vibe
looks more like a poling station
That and an 8 ball
I must be too poor to know where people get round sheets.
round sheet store
We used to be a real country with stuff like this.
Was still utter dog shit.
This is equivalent to laying in bed while scrolling your smartphone.
Just gotta add a flask case to my phone so I can sip spirits, but yeah pretty much
you will live in the pod
That thing would pick up so many cigarette burns, way more on average than your typical bed, lmao
It could be, comrade!
2028?
This but replace the man with three more women.
That looks really cool ngl
