I sliced the side of my finger off, as in completely flat. Because of modern wound care there isn't a scar would would see in a pic and the flesh actually filled back far better than the ER doc said was possible.

The average American commutes 2× the distance than the average UK citizen. Plus there's rarely a public transit option. So for many this is a doubling of an expense that cannot be avoided.
