Nice fleet of tankers ya got there... be a shame if anything happened to 'em.
Hopefully just captured. It would be an ecological disaster if they were attacked or sunk.
Pedo Fuel
And where will Trump refine that crap?…….cant use it it any modern engines as it’s only good for old Ladas and old tanks!
If it's diesel it's already refined. It's not crude they're sending but the actual diesel itself.
Ukraine could do the funniest thing right now
They are hoping they do. This is all a troll to say "look the Ukraine is hurting Russia oil and since Russia is supplying us the Ukraine is now the aggressor and our enemy."
It is pretty fucking obvious.
It hadn't even occurred to me. This is really embarrassing to admit, but I'm not very good at war.
The real war is optics and propaganda. You should definitely be questioning what is going on and come up with your own conclusions.
It's definitely a real aspect of war made prominent by the fact that this is a proxy war with global interests. I'll think on it.
"HOW DO YOU LIKE THESE CARDS?"
No need. The US has banned Russian fuel so it won't be importing it. Trump can say whatever, Congress hasn't reverted the sanctions. Who wants to risk a multi billion dollar company on "But Trump said it's ok" when everyone involved in oil is already making record profits lol
If you're monitoring the situation, I would love an update about what ultimately happens with this shipment. If it can't be imported it's weird and I'm curious what happens next, but if it does get imported anyway then what? Another nail in the coffin of rule of law I guess.
LOL, they can't unload in the US . BTW, if you haven't caught him, MR Global is an excellent source on the oil situation.
my first thought was "unload what" and it turns out that was the first thing he said.
I couldn't read the article due to a "Become a Patron" popup tgat wouldn't go away. I was trying to figure how much oil it was and then comparing it to how much diesel the US uses on a daily basis.
Yeah. I don’t bother reading articles anymore. They’re almost all paywalled.
My understanding is that any amount that could be shipped from what Russia isn't keeping for domestic use won't be enough to budge the price at the pumps in the USA in the immediate future.
It's more of a political move to get votes.
Absolutely no expert knowledge on my end, just what I've been seeing and reading.
I saw 1 article claim that the Russian diesel is actually Iranian. I could be bamboozled. But it would be great if journalists asked for verification where this diesel is coming from.
That's absolutely true. The amount they talked about was like 16 hours supply I believe.
Also it's illegal to import into the US and Trump can't change it by EO. It's still sanctioned by Congress.
it makes sound bites for faux news though, thats the important part.
