There is an unbelievable amount of smut available as audiobooks. My wife has so much on our shared audible account.
Does it count as smut if it’s a fae-centric fantasy novel where they only have sex for a scene or two? Because if so Audible has smut for days.
it bugs me, and is also kinda misogynistic, that any book with an audience demographic of women will be called smut if it even has a single dirty scene in it. Tom Clancy, Michael Crichton books and other airport pulp thrillers are chocked full of sexual content, and you never hear them called smut because they are aimed at men.
This is how I learned that Tom Clancy novels have sexual content in them. I thought it was all dudes with guns or spies or something. I’ll keep your point in mind when talking about this in the future

To an outsider it seems like the intended effect is not to titillate but instead to incense. Of course, the anger is part of the sexual pathos here, these chud men have cuck fantasies where the indignation and perceived wrongness gets them off.
