Tbf, given the way America works and how people act. I didn't get ML type communism for a long time because 1. No one provided sources and was very right winger in the way they talked about it "just belive me bro, go look it up for yourself" which I know there are a lot of liberals who don't give a shit about facts, but "go look it up" in regards to communism history and theory is very dangerous with all the algos willing to shove bullshit in your face.

When I was first looking into it no one ever really explained to me at the time is that it's not supposed to be vibe based and instead there are clear indicators when someone is hording money. And the current ruling class will face various levels of repercussions based on the level of atrocities that were committed.
But idk I will admit that I seemed to had stumble on a lot of bad luck dealing with the types at the time. And I'm very grateful to effort posters like Cowbee for FINALLY providing understanding. Cause it really bothers my autism that I could never really understand why any decent person would be a ML at the time given my piss poor understanding.

This is generally not a fundamental issue in Marxism, though of course in any society with circulating currency, private individuals and entities disrupting the circulation is a problem.
What really helped me understand was learning about the current state of affairs, ie bourgeois democracy and capitalism, then Marx and co really clicked as critiquing what our world is, and building off that critique, rather than just wish-casting a utopian future based on vibes
That was how I became an anarchist communist to start with.
