Text: My room in Tokyo is overlooking a graveyard, reminding me that death is coming for us all and to focus on the important things (b2b saas)
This is what makes most jobs so incredibly unattractive to me. I don't want to spend my life doing pointless nonsense, and if I have to do that nonsense, I want to do as little of it as possible (part-time). Money is nice, but how are people not going insane when they think about how useless their jobs would be if it wasn't for capitalism?
I kind of wish I didn't hate capitalism so much, because I'd like to know what it feels like to be so dumb and uneducated that I'm completely happy with (and unaware of) the fact that we're all being exploited so that the 1% can maintain their infinite growth.
I look at my co-workers and see half of them being completely content with barely making ends meet, and I envy them. I want to know what blissful ignorance is like. I feel like Cypher in The Matrix.
If my name was Flo I would change it
A dog I had at the time once peed on a cardboard cutout of Flo.
(It was an insurance booth at some outdoor convention we were attending. Honestly, I don't remember what the nature of the convention was or why we were there. However, the insurance people thought it was hilarious that he did so.)
Tibetan Buddhism has a practice of a death embracing meditation in valleys covered with human bones which vultures scattered across after a sky burial ritual.
Sounds like a good co-working space for the 100x entrepreneurs.
A bit of a tangent: why does the graveyard look so bad (tacky, literally astroturfed).
Weirdly, they replaced stone paths with green geotextile couple years ago? Thought that they were maybe renovating, but doesn't look like it, judging from the photos on their website and historical Google images.
Not a lot of place so it's very densely packed both inside and by surrounding buildings
What a gross waste of space...
Yes, how dare we respect our traditions.
That's not respect.
How so, o arbiter of what is and isn't respectful of the dead regardless of their wishes, traditions, or beliefs?
I think that was a joke post.
日本人 don't believe in refertilization ╮(︶▽︶)╭
Graveyards don't fertilize.
Echo might have meant the room being used for B2B SaaS
Papa means vertical agriculture, bone meal, urea, and potassium deposits can be used to feed&house more 人.
Unless there’s cobalt on your fingers.
Yeah, makes sense. Do you know of any countries where it's common to use human remains for these types of things?
ig western nations do.
It's better than the companies that try selling software as a service to individuals
