They deliberately falsify the figures for human casualties, military losses, and the costs of the war, presenting them as many times lower than they actually are. But more than anything else, Trump is lying to Americans about the state of the U.S. economy. The U.S. economy is on the precipice of collapse, and yet he keeps on telling Americans that the economy is booming and the prices will soon start coming down. This is, perhaps, his biggest lie. Countries around the world have lost their faith in the U.S. economy. Demand for American bonds has plummeted. In fact, countries are starting to offload their U.S. bonds.
