PoliticsIn the court battle today, the report said, "The White House singled out six stories published by POLITICO, including a June 2026 article that cited a 'senior administration official' who put the odds of the U.S. striking a deal with Iran to end the war at between 80 and 85 percent." This was characterized as some sort of leak that endangered national security.
However, according to Status, that "senior administration official" was Vance, who was "speaking on a background call with reporters authorized by the White House," and had been granted anonymity by the press pool.
This is the reason Fox joined the walk-out. They know what happened, and that it’ll happen to them, too.
So, was this intentional? Vance gives out some "anonymous" information, and then when it inevitably gets published, they accuse the media of "leaking" national security details, in order to justify punishment?
If you're waiting for any of this to make sense you're waiting in vain.
You can tell a pattern.
- They want to do something unconstitutional/illegal but want a reason to try to justify it.
- They do a false flag operation to cause a relevant problem or point to something tangential to the problem.
- They use Step 2 as the reason and do the thing in Step 1.
- Pretend Step 2 is a real problem and/or they didn't do it themselves until proven otherwise to anyone with a functioning brain.
- Refuse to undo Step 3 unless forced to by Congress or the courts.
As we've seen today with the Politico drama, they don't give a shit about being forced by the courts either
Not a false flag. They're just lying. Nothing about that statement endangered National Security at all. They're just straight up lying. They don't have to do a false flag
