Yeah, all the current events making diesel more expensive suck, and will hurt everyone's budget regardless if they drive. But we all know we need to use less diesel, right? We've just found the worst possible way to reduce the world's reliance on diesel.

Frankly, I'd prefer this over the more likely scenario: Not all locations are equally susceptible to climate change related disasters. The people who made their wealth wrecking the earth are going to fill those places, and leave the rest of us to survive as best we can in the hurricanes, mudslides, and heatwaves.
At least I won't have to worry about dying from it because the cameraman never dies /j
At that point, such a high percentage of people will be seeking wildfire/flood/hurricane/etc. relief that your footage won't even make the first 10 pages of GoFundMe

I think Ontario has the craziest dichotomy here. You can live right in the middle of the biggest collection of surface freshwater on the planet, and it's the fires that are most likely to get you.
... and then you either move somewhere else and watch the footage from the people you passed or you die.
