Not the standard "AI will kill us" garbage, but actual evidence of them undermining the web.
I remember a few months ago there was a headline about some journalist getting his hands on "whatever you can imagine would be the worst evidence against AI" and this was what I predicted
Turns out they just got financial protection stuff that was bad.
But now with this story I'm feeling a little prescient (though just about anyone could've seen this coming)
The feel of emptiness of reading non-human articles, code, "art", is… death-like… When you find an article, actually read it, invest your priceless precious human life-time into, imagining the author and their views in attempt to realize the idea frequency, and then… apparently, it was written by LLM/"AI"… that is built on meatground numerous works of now defaced/unknown authors… nor me, nor anyone will every know… to attribute and discuss it further with the initial author… who did the actual work… who invested their precious priceless human life time... who are waiting for someone to discuss it… who believed…
An unknown iteration that produces some objectified random output… with no effort, no individuality, no human experience, nothing… but just digital noise scrambled from bloody sorrowful void of regrets and pain of robbed artists…
For example: https://lemmy.world/comment/22523235 (I tried multiple services in addition to the common as Shazam, but nothing was found…)
As if there are numerous people screaming, shouting, speaking, whispering, and even stay silent at the same time… It’s… it’s… sorrowful… unbearable… noise…
