Am I seriously going to have to do this to keep my medicaid? Because no one is hiring and the last option is community service, which isn't the end of the world, but I'd have to get a ride to and from.

It's so fucked up because my psych medicine keeps me stable and functioning. Like I know they don't care, but large swaths of people are going to get violently ripped away from their medicine. A lot of these people will have crisis and get hurt. I know though I know this is all by design to cull the poor.
I wish you a lot of luck. I hate to say it but things will get uglier before they get better. Whatever the political landscape in DC in January, 2029 - there's going to be a horrible push for bipartisan "belt tightening". Of course they won't tax corporations and they'll need $$$$$ for the Cold War 2.0 they want to fight with China.
