Ed Sheeran’s tour of North and South America was plunged into chaos Tuesday when four of his supporting acts abruptly quit in solidarity with the rapper Macklemore, who was dropped for making pro-Palestinian comments onstage.
Hours after Sheeran posted on social media about Macklemore’s ouster and attributed the decision to the tour’s promoters, Irish acts Aaron Rowe and Beoga, the Danish band Lukas Graham, and Finneas posted on Instagram that they were leaving the tour.
Including his own backing band too lol
Sheeran could have avoided this by telling Kraft where to shove it. Especially if his feelings about Palestine are what his post is designed to make us think they are. There’s not many artists who can sell out a stadium.
Though it baffles me why. His music does nothing for me.
Hell he could have been just not a cunt and said "no I'm keeping him in my show" made no support and still made more money. That's a fucking crazy response to a genocide to me still, but my point stands he choose to be a cunt for cunts and people shouldn't want to work with him or pay him for that.
