You name correct. The sink is for cleaning the dishes and not for leaving them. Soaking is a lie you yell yourself. Fucking scrub thst shit when it's still hot off the burner if its a pan and itll come off easy. Clean as you go. Soaking dishes is the religion of the bad roomate. Dont live in a fools paradise, youll just have wet food water to deal with if you soak. Cause youre gonna let it soak overnight at least, you know you aren't coming back to it. Handle it in the moment
Burnt on stuff absolutely requires a soak though.
If you're making a soup, yeah rinse that shit off right away. But if you got some burnt tomato, you'll be scrubbing for days unless you let it soak.
