Crappy DesignThis was live on an infomercial. My wife and I just about died laughing.
If it were only three fingers, sure.
Admittedly, it got me to that headspace way too quickly, but it's a couple fingers too many. (TWSS)
I was cleaning my room recently and found an old yearbook. It literally has a hole in the front cover with a couple hands kinda prying it open. I didn't know what it looked like when I was in school. It hits very different now.

Wikipedia says that claddagh rings without a crown are a thing.
