So recently, there have been some pretty major changes I’ve made to my med regimen. I am currently only taking 1 75mg Lyrica a night, down from 3. I also ran out of my night time edibles a few days ago, and just went without them. Probably best I take occasional breaks to see how I feel about weed. On one hand, I slept like shit last night, but the low dose of Lyrica is making me pretty speedy

Came home and saw that there were maggots in the sink of dishes that’s only been there for 2 days. All my roommate’s dishes of course, but I actually don’t blame her. Kansas City hasn’t been like this our entire lives, record breaking heat and humidity the past few weeks. I’m finally really considering leaving the state now. Well anyways, heat fried my brain earlier and I accidentally dropped my phone right on some concrete. The screen stayed functional just long enough to reach out to some important people and tell them what’s up. It fully died out on the bus ride home.

Now in good news, i realized that unlike last time, I have an activated SIM. I do have an old unlocked phone, my OnePlud 6t from high school. Yeah I used that phone for 8 years without breaking it, this phone didn’t last 3 months. But I’ve been manically cleaning my house looking for a SIM tool so I can be somewhat functional until I get the new phone. I have 2, I see them all the fucking time and for some reason the second I need one they disappear.

I was born too young to remember 9/11 at all, but I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard Charlie Kirk got popped. I don't even remember where I was when I found out Kissinger was dead. I still remember bits and pieces of that, but nowhere near as vivid as finding out Kirk got shot.

I'm guessing it's probably because I was really into him when I was in middle school. My hatred towards Kirk and his ilk of online right wing grifters is more personal, because I 100 percent fell for the grift as a young teen. I loved Charlie Kirk so much I signed up for debate in high school. Funnily enough, that class was probably the biggest factor in me moving left. Fortunately being a Gamergate chud was only a couple years long phase that my Dad had been brainwashing me my entire life to even make me think about that shit, so I'm actually pretty happy with myself for how quickly I moved on from it and improved as a person. But oftentimes I think, what if I didn't? What if I didn't have the social network, or that debate class?

I remember I didn't leave my friend group I made during this time. A couple of us moved left while the others moved right. Most of them are just normal levels of American fascist, but the one that is by far the worst is someone who's in a lot of the same demographics as me. They came out as a trans woman at one point, but went back in the closet because of their family's reaction. They identify as a man now, but seeing the nitty gritty of how that actually occurred makes me feel kinda weird using he/him pronouns, so I use they/them typically. They're schizophrenic, just like me. We were both in college for STEM fields. We were both rotting inside from gender dysphoria and being autistic social outcasts. Everybody else in the group was neurodivergent in some way, but me and this other person were the most obviously autistic. We had connections between each other nobody else in the group had.

They're a full coated fascist groyper last time I talked to them. When I came out as trans a few years later, they were the person that said the most fucked up and just awful things to me. I cut off that entire friend group, and this was the exact moment I fully understood the Nazi bar analogy. The other two leftists in the chat didn't stick up for me, they were just silently reading it. While the more normal American fascists took to defending the groyper and just showing their transphobia through it

It was easy. But I've installed arch a handful of times, and gentoo twice, one of them somewhat recently. The handbook was good.

I chose a desktop/systemd profile as stage3, cuz I was thinking of installing something like niri or sway. And so I paid the price in having to download 104 packages when I upgraded to a kde profile. Which didn't include the 200-some packages kde-plasma/plasma-meta needs. Somehow a terminal and file manager are not part of those 200 packages.

Anyways, I like the USE format. I chose systemd-networkd for networking since it's a desktop connected through ethernet, so I really don't need all of NetworkManager when a 5 line config file can do it, and so I could set -networkmanager to stop it from being pulled in. I also set -firewall on kde-plasma/plasma-meta because I don't care for UFW and a graphical interface, and installed nftables and built my own instead.

im playing fire emblem fates, right now im leveling up azura in chapter 5 until i get bored

she is level 5 now

ok i got bored and got her to lvl 20 she got 19hp, 20 strenght, 9 defence and really good speed, pretty good growths in my opinion since you can get het to lvl 40 but thats too much time for me and some people dont even get to 8 defence so the 9 is good.

why did i did this, because in FE fates you can change routes after chapter 5 and the game remembers your units exp so i can use lvl 20 azura in all other routes, im going to do Birthright first because Hoshido is a global south nation under attack by the imperialist Nohr
