I thought that particular green party were even more loosey goosey and leaned even more the other way, even bent double backwards to over-accommodate. Did not think they were one of those greenwashing crypto-fascist green parties, like some countries suffer. Upon first encountering this, it seemed shocking, perhaps even a mite implausible... and then one looks into it even a little further... there's always more to a story. Certainly more than one side.
Any time stuff like this comes up, my tin foil hat tingles, and I get a sense of wedge issues being pushed to distract from traction on really substantive issues (which if dealt with, would make these wedge issues non-issues anyway), letting crooks get away with it. We can stop falling for it, building sturdy bridges to ally across, not walls to divide us.
