There are more subversive ways folks. Threatening is the last resort. One can always send them a truckload of ripe durians paid and with no return address. Accidents may happen with manure delivery as well as butchery disposal trucks. Stop playing vigilante - go big, go POTUS47-style bombastic pointless and infuriating. They will love that. Send them tons of mail with sugar icing in envelopes. You know...There's no need for violence or petty revenge.
They're lucky it's just the house. Fucking traitors.
I mean CERTAIN American homes have proven remarkable flammable at the hands of Canadians in the past...
Sweet house, tho. And look at all those balconies from which they advertised their terribleness. How can you have such good and bad taste at the same time?
This is a real “win stupid prizes” choice.
Yankee go home
A reporter wanted to see how people are effected by showing their political beliefs and so had her son wear a maga hat for a day. Let me tell you he was yelled at, spit on, harrased, and assaulted. She was really worried about what would happen to him when he left the house.....
The kids are alright
I'm not endorsing anything, but making a public statement that you hate your country, your neighbours, and everything they stand for and enjoy watching them suffer is going to provoke a reaction.
They're from the U.S. and emigrated to Canada. At worst, they're getting the tiniest of taste of what foreigners who've emigrated to the U.S. face from MAGA.
A lot of Alberta is polluted with Texan oil and gas types. But why hang a Trump flag in Canada. To convince Canadians to vote for him?
Wayne Gretzky, the Great Once, statue is chronically smeared in shit in Edmonton.
Read the room.
What did Gretzky do to deserve the doodoo?
IIRC he was pretty publicly maga.
Ty
I stand by what I said. If they chose to come and settle here, and then have the audacity to support an active foreign threat from the place they left, then they earned what comes next. I don't have to like the vandalism to understand that it's natural consequence of their behaviour. I don't consider it in the same category as what the Americans do. It's not what they are or where they came from that people have a problem with. Judging people for what they say and do is what judgment is actually for.
I stand by what I said.
I don't think anybody's disagreeing with you though.
I'll endorse it for you
“The position of some would be to say, ‘Hey, this guy, he doesn’t agree with what we agree in, politically (even though) he goes to work, he pays his taxes … (so) let’s run them out of town,'” the homeowner said in an interview.
“That’s not a good look in my opinion, in any democratic society.” ... “We’re proud Americans, we support the president, and that was the idea behind the flags,”
Support him back at home you bumble fucks. He's trying to take over Canada. That's not a fucking "political disagreement". Also paying taxes isn't good enough of an argument for this shit. We should ICE him the fuck out of here.
Honestly, they deserve more
He should move to Iran and try that argument.
Asked why they remain in Canada even with their support for the administration, the homeowner said it’s because they have built a life in the country.
Somehow they support mass deportations in their own country, when those same deportees are saying the exact same thing.
Also this:
the reference to 2028 is a joke given that presidents cannot, under the U.S. Constitution, serve a third term.
Once it becomes clear this is what he's aiming for, this doofus will be 100% in support.
the reference to 2028 is a joke given that presidents cannot, under the U.S. Constitution, serve a third term.
It's a joke in the same way a gambling addict "jokes" about wanting to go the casino. MAGA will try to find any excuse to turn it into reality.
presidents cannot, under the U.S. Constitution, serve a third term.
It's pretty clear that the US Constitution no longer means jack shit.
Well, the courts will declare that it was illegal the day after he's sworn in, but because he's already sworn in, they'll say there's nothing they can do because he's the president or whatever
Threats of arson are a great way to get charged with a crime without even getting to do the crime you wanted to do.
Do, or do not. There is no threaten.
Expatriate them. They love trump let them live there
That story warmed my heart, dude shouldn't be threatened, but he should also learn to read the room, geez. They deserve the eggs and dog shit.
This is how we dealt with traitors in 1814.
Fifteen men were convicted and sentenced to death.Eight were hanged at the Burlington Heights British military camp on July 20, 1814 and their heads chopped off and displayed on poles. Their heads were later paraded across the local villages.
This describes so many things I hear these days
Manifesting some durian for you, kids
Nice!
My neighbors were pulled from their homes and disappeared while others were summarily executed in the street.
My heart bleeds for this person.
They don't deserve your sympathy.
You realize they are perfectly safe while loudly stating their support for a regime currently doing the very things that happened to your friends?
That was aggressive sarcasm, not sympathy
That's not right. No one should suffer arson threats.
Edit: At least a few people who don't get the joke.
In fairness they weren't actually threatened with arson. The story notes that it was discussed online; discussing that a person should have their house burned is very different from an actual threat. Unless he has recieved targeted communication saying "we'll burn your house down dude" he hasn't been threatened.
What we have here is a schoolyard bully crying to the teachers as soon as anyone makes them sad.
This is some dangerous semantics. "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?"
