I hate to be that guy. They are right no reasonable person would trust Sony to sell them something
makes sense to me, this is just how books worked for hundreds of years. You write one and then nothing else ever happens to it ever again.
they could fix this by turning anything that says "buy" to "lease" and then it at least wouldnt be a lie. But lying makes more money.
It's like the Coca-Cola company's defense of Vitamin Water^tm^
"No reasonable consumer would think Vitamin Water^tm^ is a healthy drink"
That is kinda true though
A single 20-ounce bottle contained around 31 to 33 grams of sugar—roughly eight teaspoons of sugar, which was nearly equal to a standard can of Coca-Cola
wth in bottled water? The Dusani scandal is my favourite, where it was just from a tap in east London, still probably had some minerals and definitely healthier than Vitamin Water
Yeah but they called them like "mood boost" and "recovery" and shit too it was awesome. How could you think the product called "Vitamin Water" with the flavour "recovery" and think it's healthy
It's not actually water at all. It's a Gatorade type thing. Highly flavored, tons of detectable sugar, brightly colored.
So then pirating the game isn't stealing the game. It's not following the license agreement that I didn't sign or agree to in the first place. That's good to know
It's me, Grant F. Otto the 6th, owner of GTA6 that I purchased with the trillion dollar coin I heisted from the American government back in 2021.
Can i have a turn?
No.
Understandable, have a nice day.
I do remember a pretty significant pushback against shit like online activation. And before that it really felt like you owned a copy of the game that you could borrow somebody or resell or borrow some games from the library.
The first game I played that changed that was spore which came with a limited number of installations. Which I'm still bitter about to this day.
That was the first game I was fully prepared to buy but pirated it purely on principle
If purchasing is not ownership, pirating is not stealing
Pirating isn't stealing either way
pirate GTA6 10 million times
Rockstar goes bankrupt
Buy the company for $30
Delete all my pirated copies
Company surges back a billion dollars
Called the greatest CEO of all time
Get killed on the way to an investor meeting
Ooooowhatyousay.mp3
MFW I made it
Yes cuz as we all know my copy of Lord of the Rings on my shelf is the ONLY copy in the world.
You purchase a license to use the software not the IP for the software this is so fucking dumb
You wouldn't grand theft an auto
one book in the world theory
I assumed this was an onion headline ngl
it's one GTA, Michael, how much can it cost? A gorrillion dollars?
That's easy for stupid people like me because i can decide if i want to pay you to play your game or just simply play the game.
Omfg. Its getting dumber with any argument. Labeling people as dumb. Some "Business gurus" think they're so brilliant coming around With Something Like that.. wow..
Screw them.
