Any and all LGBTQIA+ shows are of course welcome, but I'd be happy to watch something in which trans and non-binary are represented. 😭🩷🩵🤍

If possible, don't just slap the title in the comments, but also tell me why you like the show!

Have a safe, happy, healthy day 🫶

Feel Good is just an absolutely delightfully messy, heartfelt, beautiful watch. I won't go further into the why, since it might spoil some of the journey for you, but its a must watch IMO if you like seeing the joy and messiness of queer life represented authentically

Sex Education in my opinion has more of what I mentioned above, but the trans/nonbinary parts of it are not explored directly by the "main" cast. However, it does get a pretty big light shone on it over the course of the series, and in a way that made me feel really, really fucking seen. I also think this show is a pretty legitimately good education starting point for people who have only ever seen things through the white cishet lens. Bonus points for Ncuti Gatwa for his jawdropping performance throughout the series.

As another poster mentioned, Sense8 is DRIPPING with queerness. Its quintessential science fiction from two trans ladies who did another little film series you may have heard of called The Matrix. So much gorgeous found family, breaking of norms, queerness, transness, gayness, non-whiteness. Do check it out.

There was a British show where some people get these random powers, one was a dude could change into a woman and I liked how they approached it.

The Misfits?

That's it!

Dead End: Paranormal Park is also a good animated show with a trans ftm mc

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power of course. Important non-binary/genderfluid character and so many queer characters in general

Venture bros.

The Magicians was a great show. I have heard there is a lot of queer characters in it. I never realized all of them. Also in the later seasons the fae queen (I think that was the role) is played by a trans woman.

I never realized that! I absolutely LOVE that show!

The Owl House!! (Raine Whispers, nonbinary transmasc) - also just a generally amazing show with great morals and story and worldbuilding and chatacters

The Dragon Prince (Terry trans guy) - good characters and art, rubbish worldbuilding, story, etc

Brooklynn Nine-Nine. Multiple of the main characters are gay, and the main character assaults someone because they were being overtly homophobic.

Steven Universe, once you are past the first episodes in which they didn’t really know for whom the show is it steadily improves. It has an excellent story arch of growing up, finding your identity and dealing with ppl. Who deadname you.

Definitely also watch the movie after you're done with the first series. Future is good, but not as good IMO.

Dispatches From Elsewhere is a mini-series that features a trans woman in a pretty accurate sense, and the character is played by a trans woman.

Wonderful show if you don’t mind shows that start off a bit “what the fuck did I just watch?” After all, the very first scene is Christopher Walken staring at you without saying anything for 30 seconds.

Sense8, mostly because it's just a good thriller series made by two trans women (the same who made the Matrix) where one of the main characters are trans. It has a lot of themes around community and acceptance of differences.

Just some minor theme spoilers ::: spoiler spoiler She goes through some hardship that feels very trans adjacent, and it's super sex positive, which some people find awkward. :::

Big Sky has a trans femme in a major role. She seems to be a well done character, but i am only on the early parts of season 2.

I started watching the show because of Katherine Winnick (Lagartha from Vikings) and despite it being a cop show i have stuck with it. I typically avoid copaganda shows, but this is one i am enjoying.

Disclaimer: i am a straight cis white male so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I do my best to be an ally, but can never truly understand being queer, so my opinion on this is coming from a straight perspective.

Edit to add: Jesse James Keitel's TMDB page.

I started watching the show because of Katherine Winnick (Lagartha from Vikings) WAIT WHAT😱 MY CRUSH IS ON THERE?😱

I will warn you,

::: spoiler Spoiler it seems like in the start of the show the character is merely a damsel in distress and her being trans is being mocked. But that changes. :::

Taskmaster Australia, S05 has Joel Creasey as a contestant who is non-binary

Along the same lines, Mae Martin was in Taskmaster UK series 15.

Brilliant show, I just started catching up on AUS in reverse order. S3-5 are incredible, starting S2 today
