season 3 of Blowback, which i listened to back in 2022, was revelatory in my political evolution. it made me hope that i would see the reunification of the peninsula under a common, democratic project that punished imperial collaborators and ruthless exploiters while releasing the potential of a people that have been under the thumb of brutal imperial projects for over a century.
i can only hope the mechanisms and relationships that maintain the death cult-worshipping southern oligarchy atrophy beyond repair under what is left of the trump project, so that they cannot be re-established by whatever, more competent imperial steward comes next.
