Look, I don't think she's a "Genocide loving Zionist", I think she genuinely thinks what's happening is bad.
But her response, which essentially amounted to nihilistic resignation and a perceived inability to do anything about it, means she's giving tacit support by trying to remain neutral on a moving train.

I genuinely do not understand this behaviour or why it is so commonplace. Like, just ignoring people calling you out doesn't mean they have "no argument" it's like failure to understand object permanence but for discussion, if they plug their ears and go "lalalalala" then there are no arguments against their position because they personally refuse to listen.

I was implying alcoholism, and we can talk about how addictions effect judgment and behavior. That's one of the defining things about drug/alcohol addictions.
