Brand New SentenceIn 2013 I actually did identify as bigender (stepping stone identity), I didn't have the word neurodivergent but I sure had adhd diagnosed, and like half the people I loved at the time were struggling with depression.
This just falls into the standard conservative "if it didn't happen to me or an immediate family member I cared about, then it doesn't exist" bucket. I saw a meme recently about this where it said the same thing except about your weird uncle who was super into model trains.
These are the same people who'd send family members for lobotomies or to an asylum and pretend they didn't exist, because 'they were different'.
