She’d better love my fungal nails.

semi-true. "the body" often carries information e.g. how much time does the person have to groom themselves? if that's very little, then chances are high that the relationship is not gonna be very fun because you won't have actual time to spend with each other.

that being said, i've most enjoyed those relationships that were with people who were not "beautiful by societal standards", because those were actually fun (the people, not the societal standards).

bonds to his soul

Soul pics?

Dat ass got my attention, but I put a ring on it because of the soul. Also the ass.

I've been enjoying CoupleMemes a lot more than i thought i would but this one is a bit 🙄🤮.

The beautiful thing is that we are just bodies that fall in love with bodies. Every bump, wrinkle, spot and smell. Especially the smells since love is initially just chemicals in the brain.

Souls aren't real, but love is and since it's real it's in our bodies.

In 30 years, all my crushes and relationships began as an aesthetic attraction. I very recently found the person who I believe to be my life partner, and this attraction was different. It was a deep connection beyond physical form. I fell in love with the person controlling the vehicle.

Im non-religious, non spiritual, but this connection feels akin to a "soulmate". Their words for it was "twin flame". We both felt it, we both found "the one".

I never thought I'd experience that. I thought relationships were always superficial and temporary. It was completely unexpected.

I would maintain that the person is the vehicle. We are inseperable from our bodies - to love a person is to love a body.

My partner and i both intended to spend the rest of our lives together - 9 years so far. Like ~70% of my relationships, it started as an everything attraction - body, style, behaviour, thoughts, ethics, the whole shebang. I've had a few relationships where mostly i just thought the other person was hot, but even then we shared something - values, outlooks, hobbies.

"Twin Flame" is an awkward term - it's very closely tied to an abusive, controlling cult. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin_Flames_Universe

What if you fall in love with a new soul every night?

Even with love for the soul, relationships can fall apart for the lack of sexual interest.

What about aroace people

What about deez nuts??

What about them? If a sex repulsed asexual person loves an allosexual with a strong sex drive that relationship probably isn’t working out. An aromantic probably isn’t getting into a romantic relationship deeper than friendly companionship, which I would call “weaker” (for lack of a better word) than the “soul loving” they put forth. An aroace person would have both issues.

Where nipple???

Some don't fall... Ftfy..

Tons of examples of people falling for a pair of tatas.. regardless of their "soul".

you must be fun in poetry circles.

Interestingly enough Mr poetry police, it still works with "some".. where are these circles anyway? Or they don't even exist and you just wanted to be an intellectual muppet?

Type “poetry clubs near me” into your search engine of choice or visit the English department of your local college and you will find the poetry circles.

This is actually kinda true.

It's also transferable.

Sometimes you fall in love with a perfect banana bread and all that that implies

People who just fuck around: "but I love everybody!"
