Short hair would have been unusual in the time and period, though, unless you were a filthy R*man sympathizer!
Certainly not like a Scandinavian.
Probably more like a brown Palestinian man.
This is more likely what he looked like, but it doesn’t match “Supply Side Jesus” teachings.

I was thinking it looked a bit like Nish Kumar.
In the 1950s there was a Christian movement to have artists correct all depictions of Jesus with a sensible crew cut.
I'm making that up, but it still could be true.
I think it’s the Seventh Day Adventists who still do it that way?

Back in medieval times, there were once few sects like Hutterites practicing what Jesus had preached, most notably separation of church and state, and also communal living.
One can easily guess what happened to some of them. 🌚
