Ok I'll put that on my list of things that are definitely not going to happen.

Thanks for the article, but please try to post garbage-free links. The link in this post is like 3 pages long.

"one of the Russian soldiers comes crawling back out of the treeline, and yells, 'Don't believe him! There are 2 of them!'"

Watch Putin attack Finland to trigger NATO just because he can. He already knows he's finished. I don't think the Russian people or the oligarchs are very happy with him.

Whereas of course he was their favourite person before the war.

Second country you will lose to?

"You and what army?"

He's right.

If Finland enters the war, Russia can look forward to 2x the drone strikes on its fossil fuels and 2x the rate of 200/400 cargo

Even if Finland isn’t ready to go with the drones, you know Ukraine is shipping hundreds to take advantage of new launch sites!

Um... did this guy forget Finland is part of the EU? Lol

NATO, too.

Russia is at war with NATO since Putin took over. At least propaganda wise. Why do you think their media ghouls keep hitting that "nuke me" red button at the first queue of Europe.

It is the reason tankies keep slinging same narrative.

Based on how the last war went, I don't think Finland needs any help.

Yeah... definitely what Russia needs now is to start Winter War part two.

Finland: Go on then.

Russia: Help, comrade, I went up fjord and am stuck in snow.

Finland: Fuck off

Isn't now the perfekt time to invade Russia?

Bullies flail so predictably when they start losing.

They are so many, and we are so small Where shall we bury them all?

in New Finland? previously known as Russia. it's next to New Ukraine and Bigger China.

Greater Mongolia should also have some space

Right next to North Kazakhstan.

"They continue escalation, trying in every possible way to anger Russia. We, of course, will not succumb to provocations, but we will strengthen our defense on this very significant section of the border. Even now, I assure you, we have enough military equipment concentrated there to blow up half of Finland."

Zhuravlyov accused Finland of "gradually turning into a second Ukraine" following its decision to join NATO in 2023.

Finland has been preparing for a Russian invasion since the end of the last world war, joining the EU just made the relationship with their European neighbors official

Both the USSR and Finland figured the fight would be between the great powers and the USSR. The USSR wanted Finland to be neutral to close off that route of invading the USSR, and Finland wanted to be neutral and sit out any war.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finno-Soviet_Treaty_of_1948

Under the treaty, which was signed on 6 April 1948, the Soviets sought to deter Western or Allied Powers from attacking the Soviet Union through Finnish territory,

Under the pact, Finland was obliged to resist armed attacks by "Germany or its allies" (in reality interpreted as "the United States and allies")[citation needed] against Finland, or against the Soviet Union through Finland. If necessary, Finland was to ask for Soviet military aid to do so.

The agreement also recognized Finland's desire to remain outside great-power conflicts, allowing the country to adopt a policy of neutrality in the Cold War.

Finland followed the Eastern Bloc countries' decision and did not participate in the Marshall Plan.

But that doesn't hold in today's world where Russia is little more that a terrorist country that wants bits of land, so they joined NATO.

Air power / missile technology is way beyond what it was in 1948, too. Attacking "from Finland" might be convenient, but it is not at all necessary.

Neutral countries usually means a no fly zone, and that probably goes for low flying missiles too.

Finland is ready for the invasion - assuming Russia doesn't have any technology developed since 1940

They've invented lots of technologies since the 1940s unfortunately for Russia they then burnt it all in the first 6 months of the war so now they're back to Soviet era tanks.

Meanwhile everybody else's stock by all is still at 100%.

China is also unlikely to be too supportive in that area, they would like Russia to win against the West, but they also know that's not going to happen without China joining the war (Russian air force essentially no longer exists and their navy has been effectively neutralised), and they don't want to do that. So second best option is to let Russia collapse and then take a bit of territory from themselves.

Russia already blew their load and couldn’t defeat Ukraine. Finland bloodied Russia when it was a real world power. I guess they have nukes, but that’s in reality a losing move. The paper tiger has crumpled. That’s what a kleptocracy gets you, weakness

Oh the tradition of being scared and barking.

Which half?

I would also like to know.

The tip or the shaft?

Probably the half past the kehä III.

That dude looks like he just came from krypton.
