GamesGot this email this morning from GOG. Choosing this as the subject line was certainly a decision.
They just commented on the Reddit post abiut this and it's a pretty weak excuse. Downright stupid one in my opinion.

Ah yes, let's put double sun runes for uh no reason. Also hmm this looks like an SS logo we should not send it to Germany but everywhere else is fine. Yes, that is a sensible thing to do after noticing that you have written something that looks exactly like an SS logo.

A redditor said they subbed to the email in English, so they got the email in Germany. They were just checking language (which is semi-reasonable from a "do this quick" logic). But is a really funny way to do compliance.
"Yeah this might be illegal in X country, just check if that country's language is used and comply with the bare minimum. Surely no one outside the country speaks that language, or someone inside speaks another language."
