Snip:
President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel has noted the increase of the military threat from the US side to an unprecedented level.
"The US President is intensifying his threats of military aggression against Cuba to a dangerous and unprecedented level," Diaz-Canel wrote on his page in X. "The international community should pay attention to that and determine together with the American nation whether such a radical criminal act is allowed for satisfying interests of a small yet rich and influential group, driven by the revenge and the appetite for domination," he noted.
"Not a single aggressor, whatever powerful it is, will find capitulation in Cuba," Diaz-Canel stressed. "It will face the nation full of determination to defend sovereignty and independence on every centimeter of its national territory," he added.
I hate this world that liberals have built. All the suffering and death...and for what?! That you're mad that workers want to create a political and economic system that doesn't allow the richest to control our fate? That such a system could ever out compete yours when given the chance?!
We should be investigating who the likely candidates to take over if Diaz-Canel gets kidnapped or killed and whether or not they are going to be truly willing to do what it takes to defend the country or whether they will capitulate like Delcy.
Salvador Valdés Mesa is the VP, he joined the Revolutionary Militia as a kid and was Minister of Labour in the 90's so he seems very solid. I think the Cuban political structure is much more like Iran, any attempt to merk the top is just going to solidify the ideology of resistance
Stay defiant, principled, indignant and noble.
