I love it when dogs can absolutely climb/jump over fences like they're nothing, but they actively choose to respect them because they're good babies.

Around the corner from my place there's a house with one of those low fences with wide slots between the horizontal wood slats. Their golden retriever, Maggie, comes out to say hi most of the time me & my 2 small dogs walk by. They all do the heavy sniffing for a long time, and then we can move on. Maggie's getting old now but she still makes the effort. Good girl.
