Apparently some newer Nissan EVs have Pet Mode as well. Supposedly they display a polite "Thanks for your concern!" message. I'm yet to see one in the wild though. I'd love to see this normalised, not having to do car park patrols in hot weather would be a blessing.
Putting my Ioniq into camping mode accomplishes the same thing except for the message on the screen
In spain is illegal keep kids or animals in the car, no matter what, is even allowed break windows to free them
Maybe so, but the reason for that law is because the cabin would overheat. It maybe something that they want to revisit as EVs can run A/C whilst parked.
I did this to my girlfriend and wife, but they updated it to day, “My driver will be back soon.” :( can’t even have a pet kink with Tesla.
