Odd choice to use "anchorpersons" when the much simpler "anchors" is a gender neutral term for it.
I wondered if the common shortening of anchorman/anchorwoman/anchorperson to anchor happened after the time of this comic, but apparently it's from the 1950s or 60s.
I wondered the same and checked before posting.
