The history of labor is written in blood.

At least the are not on this crossover between a fun house attraction, pater noster and 600m ladder.
As long as we're listing "at least it's not" things, at least it's not children in this picture
Not one cell phone, they truly lived in Heaven before Obama ruined everything
Why did you do this obama? OBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
On the way back up they had to share that space with sixteen tons of number nine coal
All that just to get another day older and deeper in debt
Panopticon's 'Kentucky' album has some great snippets about coal mining. Apart from being a great atmospheric metal album it's educational.
A lot of the labour rights we have today we're won by miners, but the industry has gone more conservative
I'm a fan of black metal and a leftist, but I have a hard time feeling inspired by black metal about labor struggles.
Panopticon is jams.
Real coal mine elevator being even more dystopian than the Fritz Lang dystopia of "Metropolis"

Life before we were all consumed by our smartphones 😩👌🏻
Everyone just living in the moment; not a cellphone in sight.
Everyone just living in the moment
Not for long!
Look at all that yearning for the mines!
That coal dust is only stuck to them because of all the ejaculate.
???
They are saying coal dust sticks to jizz.
Some people have never jizzed in a coal mine and it shows
Even so, you’d think a basic understanding of how jizz works would lead one to that conclusion. It almost didn’t even require being explicitly stated, let alone questioned for clarification. But we are here to educate.
It’s just something that happens when a man sees big natural veins of coal laid bare
Perhaps, but does jizz stick to children? I think that might be the confusion.
I don't think we need to test that specifically, but hey, you sound like you're destined for a cabinet position one day, so what do I know.
The market will regulate itself!
What are these tight spaces? Elevators?
It's a single elevator, optimized to stack as many people in as possible. it takes a while to go up/down so this saves time and resourcesz at the cost of comfort obv.
I think it's technically just one elevator. The people are just stacked up as tightly as possible
Yup. With uncomfortable conditions, minimal safety equipment, and difficult to escape from
Not a screen in sight!
