Of course, Christians had destroyed and converted many Graeco-Roman temples by force in the past. But that was okay, because they were True Religion and the PAGANS were Bad Religion. That a new religion was doing it to Christians was totally unfair and unprecedented 😭

the authoritarianism? That pisses me off, but it doesn't make me grumpy. like, i have different emotions okay? i can be angry for things that i don't get to experience and grump grump grump it doesn't really matter because it's just me and i can be pissed off and really angry about the real things, okay? let us save our real anger for the real things and let me be grumpy about the little things that effect me, because mourning the fact that i am not going to see this beautiful building that i was never going to see anyways is not that big a loss, but it is a loss anyways.
