If someone comes to your door saying they accidentally bumped your car and want you to come look at for "insurance"

dont believe them

Tell that to BTK. Granted, he kinda did it to himself.

Unfortunately there is no statute of limitations for murder so you can be laying in bed decades later and the cops may come busting through your door to arrest you.

Unfortunately

unfortunately?

If you can get away with it for twenty-five years you should win and not be able to be charged.

A lot of Nazis got away like this

Nice try but we'll never stop hunting you for what you did in Bosnia

Are you referring to the Italian men that paid for "the privilege" of doing man-hunting in Sarajevo, just for "the fun" of killing (civil) people including women and children?

That story is so fucked up I can't even process it.
And nothing will come out of it.
And the intelligence knew about it.
And they did nothing about it.
I fucking hate the fascists

::: spoiler spoiler porcodio :::

I was a different man back then with dark urges.

I believe everyone should get a second chance, even you SatansMaggotyCumFart

You too, Adolf Schmitler. You sound like a fun person!

I'll need six or seven though.

That's (almost) how it works in Italy. Mostly it works like this, if the maximum sentence for a certain crime is X years, if you are not sentenced after X years (if X is less than 6 years, then use 6 years) you are no longer triable.

Unless the maximum sentence for the crime is a life sentence, in which case, you are always triable.

And of course it is a bit more complicated, as there are certain rules on "when the clock starts ticking", and "when the clock stops ticking" and "when the clock is paused for a bit".

Which in my opinion is fair, although there were some people that abused the system to try to avoid a sentence, which is bad, but I think that in general a few bad people exploiting a good rule doesn't mean the rule must be removed. If anything we should change the rule a bit to prevent such exploits.

LGTM Approved by Silvio.

In a town near my house a woman disappeared 9 years ago. Her remains have been found last week. So months or years, no, you are not "safe". Thankfully

Thankfully

That's making assumptions. Who knows who they putin to the ground.

She's been found in the backyard of a house 30 m from her house, under concrete and with a washing machine on top. And the same people that lives there have been living there more that 10 years.

Sorry if there's been a misunderstanding on my part.
I thought the "Thankfully" was detached from sentence 1 and 2. With sentence 3 referring back to OP.

My reply was thus also referring to OP, along with the Putin pun as it fit there.

Of course! None of us here have anything to hide 😅.

Excuse me, I have to go now!

thanks honk
