"Dozens" is also incorrect by a factor of 12, it would have to be Dozen Dozens to get the correct amount of destruction it caused
To be fair this was early and they have since updated to "175+"
To compensate they changed it to "Iranian State media says..." even though it's been verified elsewhere and left in the passive language with no mention of the perpetrator
I think people at the NYT actually believe that because it's a private company it can't also be state media.
Also America is a privately owned state.
