the four levels of dress:

  1. going outside socially
  2. going outside chores
  3. being at home office
  4. being at home

only two of these involve pants

When I was a kid, I referred to jeans as "stiff clothes." After I broke my ankle, I wasn't happy about the arthritis, but appreciated the excuse to wear soft clothes.

immediately changing into shorts or comparably comfy clothes, the second i get home. I will sometimes postpone errands because i don't want to put on pants.

I have 'bad cloths' i immediately put on when home. And don t bother me with stuff outhouse after that. And on sunday is mostly pijamaday

People wear clothes in their home?

People have homes?

People have clothes?

The day's work done, I'm home at last to rest
Be gone, Excel! Be gone, all office drama!
I free myself from jacket, pants and vest
And slink into my pink pyjama.

Changing to comfy pants as soon I step into the house is the largest quality of life improvement I’ve made to my life

Totally! Worst is when you have forgotten something and you have to put human pants back on to go out to the shops.

That's the great thing about winter in Finland. No need to switch from the comfies, you just throw your winter layer on top.

I don't wear pyjamas outside of bed, but I do shed my outer layer of outside clothes ASAP when I get home.

I work from home and wear joggers all day every day.

She'll need to have a chat with pretty much every southeast Asian. Home clothes are a must, especially when your outside clothes have just gone through 35 degrees C, heavy pollution, all the smells between heaven and hell, unknown liquids dripping from corrugated steel roofs. After all that, you just want to feel fresh.

I'm retired, but I have 4 sets of clothes on "the chair" at all times - going to town clothes, yard work clothes, daytime pajamas (sweat pants and t-shirt) and after shower pajamas.

My wife has banned The Chair.

Otherwise it's tees and cargo-shorts; but the Outside clothes needs to stay in a closet anyway to reduce the pet-hair-removal effort before I leave the house.

I do this as well. it is truly more comfortable.

I wear comfy clothes all the time. My pants are wide, my shirts are loose, and I just don't feel the need to change into anything else

I can't stand being in anything besides jeans for a second longer than necessary

or, y'know, just change from your outside jeans to your inside jeans

Pretty much as long as I can remember, yeah.

I change into my comfy sweat pants and uh... sweat sweater? My wife calls it my sofa uniform.

Or, you know, never change into jeans in the first place.

Yes I do this. For me it’s a germaphobe thing.

If it wasn't for OSHA, I'd only wear pajamas.

I have 2 pairs of jeans that have outlasted most of my legwear.
I might have worn them maybe 20 - 30 times in past 10 years.

I do it with an old shorts or baggy pants, depending on weather. Often shirtless, barefoot. Feels good.

But I can't remember the last time I even had pyjamas.

For me it’s like that “forming Voltron” animation but it goes from guy in suit to fluffy grandma clothes.

I love jeans. I wear it even on weekends (when my parents don't bully me into wearing whatever they want).

What do your parents bully you into wearing?

I don't wear jeans much anymore but a big yeppers for the pajamas gang.

I do that always but it's a bit different since I come home in work clothes and those have mud and other dirt on them.

There must be something wrong with me. I can sometimes consciously, never intentionally, sleep in jeans.
