I'm starting to believe trump regime was the best thing to happen for EU to grow a pair.
A lot of luxuries and technologies we have today arose from war and conflict. We knew we needed to rely less on the US for a long time, we just needed a real shake.

We didn't really get of gas. It's just changing from where we import it. There plenty of projects to import gas in the works

The USA corruption and blatant oligarchy has more than 40 years erroding democracies, fabricating wars and polutting the environment.
It is high time the monster shown its true colours so the rest of the world can react accordingly.
And sadly, sometimes, things have to get worst before they get better.
I thought the same, Trump might actually be a good thing for Europe in the long run.
Imagine if the US just played nice with Europe for another 30 years, and got us even more dependant on their payment systems and cloud providers, and only then someone like Trump came along.
We'd have our hands completely tied, where as now with some effort we can still dig ourselves out of US dependency
What do you mean by getting of natural gas? Its now liquid natural gas, which takes like 10 times more energy to ship and they are building more gas infrastructure.
There's also been a big reduction in the amount used which wouldn't have happened as quickly otherwise.
Even as bad as Bush Jr was, the USA was still good enough to provide Europe a security guarantee and peace dividend.

I do agree. they seem to be quite objective - I’ve watched them for a long time already.
They try to be objective, which is more than most.
Personally I think some opinion always comes through and generally I prefer sources that admit that and share their opinion on what they're reporting on. As long as it's honestly given and not manufactured.
It's a bit like film critics. Over time you get to know what they like and what they don't and that let's you extract more information. A rom-com impressing a horror fan gives me more information that it appealing to a fan of the genre.
Similarly, when Owen Jones started criticizing Labour I knew that Labour were leaving a bunch of their supporters behind without needing to be told that explicitly.
Finally, this excites me much more than Wero, despite the fact that my country isn't even in the planned initial rollout list. Hopefully it'll be here soon too.
