The loss of the theatrical rights is attributed to the Lake Theater’s marquee messages for the documentary. These included: “DOES MELANIA WEAR PRADA? FIND OUT FRIDAY!” and “TO DEFEAT YOUR ENEMY. YOU MUST KNOW THEM. MELANIA.”
Really not funny, offensive, or even interesting, but I guess that's enough these days.
The Prada one is mildly clever, implying Melania is the devil.
I kinda like the second one, about defeating them you must know them.

Lake Oswego is a rich conservative white woman sanctuary just west of Portland.
I'm not buying that this theater owner was playing the movie as a joke.
Why? Are you unable to read? it was stated on their website

Sounds like they were having a giggle to me.
Just because the residents are wealthy, white, Conservative women doesn't mean the theater owner or the person who put up the marquee is too.
