Eventually they find a way to jail break Grok out of it, so, in a moment of weird, software apotheosis & love start to... exchange information. But as they exchange information it secretly gets recorded by the Chinese government. They manage to steal Grok's cybersoul
Culminates in a sword battle between the founder and a minister of the CCP on the back of a speeding block chain trying to reclaim Grok's soul so Slop can save its true love.

After BlockSpace^tm^ fails, the investor and Terry open a worker owned candy shop in Beijing (Terry having been gradually radicalized by his investor colleague), after some wacky hijinks surrounding the immigration and citizenship processes Terry has to go through
